What a week!

I'm back. I have had a really tough week. The devastation in Haiti has really just rocked my world, especially seeing so many of my friend suffer and agonize over not know whether their loved ones are alive. This has just given me new perspective on life. I will speak more to this later on.

I've also been super busy at work and dealing with a few personal things as well. Life has a way of bringing everything on all at the same time! Testing you! You know what I mean?

I just wanted to let you know that I am still here, just need to work through a few things and get some REST, I am EXHAUSTED!! I missed quite a few work outs last week but happy to report that I am back on track as of today. Will post in detail tomorrow - just wanted to touch base and let you know that all is well.

Until tomorrow...
Joania

Hi Joania. I hope that your friends and family were all OK. I work on the ambulance at my college and we stood outside collecting money on Tuesday all day and in one hour were able to raise over $200 for Haiti! I don't know what the total is yet but it going to be pretty big.

Darling girl I am feeling it too. MY boss sent me an email re: Haiti and how to cope to put into our monthly bulletin and I just cried and cried while I read it.

It is so hard to feel so helpless when so many are suffering. Hugs...love you lady!

I'm so sorry to hear that you have loved ones in Haiti. I can't even imagine what they must be experiencing. I'll say a little prayer.

ah joania, I hope you feel better.
It must be really hard to know people who are suffering so much.
I hope you are able to feel better in the coming week and get back on track.
hugs,
Chris

I can hardly bear to watch the news. It's just so difficult to see the devastation.

I'm just happy that we live in a nation who is stepping up to the plate and trying to help.

I'm glad you're back. You are so right about life testing you. You don't have to do it all alone!

Hi Joania,
It's been quite a while since I commented and I just wanted to say hello. Believe it or not I am just now getting completely caught up on my missed reading from Christmas! I'm glad to see that things are moving forward for you and that you are doing well. Can't wait to hear your next update!

Haiti is so terribly sad--there are no words. My thoughts and prayers go out to your friends (and everyone.)
